History of freight forwarding in Iran

Iran always has strategic role in transport between, South Asia , Europe, West Asia,  CIS countries , and Indian subcontinent and linked landlocked countries to the warm sea of Persian gulf and Oman sea.

Iran has a long history in construction of roads and creation of road network between east and west, royal roads of Achaemenid era is the most important of those network that linked Susa to Sard and Perspolis and Ekbatan. The Silk road is the most important route through Iran and Europe and those eras.

Iran is neighboring from the north to the Republic of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Caspian Sea and from the east to the Afghanistan and Pakistan and from the south to Persian Gulf and Oman sea and from the west to Iraq and Turkey.
